The changes, the choices and the surrender to what will be!
As we feel the shift in season, the warmer weather and the ease after eclipse season we may be feeling a little disorientated, like life has been thrown up into the air and we are still waiting for the pieces to land.
Where are we going?
What are we doing?
How do we navigate this new space?
We may still be sitting in the cloud of unknowing, but perhaps some clarity is starting to emerge. Perhaps some big changes are needed or small adjustments to the way you are moving through life.
What is on offer here is choice and remembering that we always have choice.
We might look around at the situations of our life and feel restricted, conflicted or dissatisfied with how things are. If this is the case, we are being called to make some change, to choose how we wish life to be. We are asked to feel into what our heart is asking of us, where our joy is coming from, where our desire wants us to go and then take, even the smallest step, in that direction.
It can be hard as it may go against all we know, it may cause some upset to others and it may not make any sense to anyone but ourselves, but the growth lays in the trust, the surrender and the faith that what is coming from deep within your heart is leading you to a new way of being, that is better than where you are at.
We are still in the liminal space of change. It is a hard place to be, trust me, I know. I have sat in liminality for many years now, moving forward, making choices but never really knowing where I am going and what I am doing. I am just led by the belief that I am here to bring love, joy and healing to the people I interact with. I do my best, sometimes that looks like teaching a lovely class, sometimes that means a word of wisdom and support and sometimes it means stepping back and being on my own.
We don’t always have to have a deeper purpose, we don’t need to have everything figured out, in fact that is near impossible right now with all this flux. All we need do is get quiet when we can, listen to and nourish our body and follow the intuitive hits that feel aligned and lead us towards our joy, creativity, peace and what makes us feel alive. It is a good time to start planning a new future and to dream big, but not to cling or force any outcome.
The more we choose our adventure through life in this way, trusting and surrendering, the closer we get to a world that does the same and harmony will begin to emerge. It’s a long game approach, but forcing doesn’t work either, so let’s float down the river together.
Take a moment to hold in your heart those whose lives have been lost and affected by the recent tragedies in Nepal and Japan. May they be in peace.
Much love,
Namaste Eli
