PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY
I have been practicing yoga since I was 13 years old, introduced to me by my magnificent mother who is also a yoga and mindfulness meditation teacher. I treasure yoga as a daily practice on and off the mat, and see it as a powerful tool through which we can reconnect to ourselves and the world around us. For me yoga – like life – is a practice of balance, of equal and opposites; surrender and strength, joy and patience, love and acceptance. I teach strong Vinyasa flow yoga. My classes are designed to facilitate mind, body and breath connection by aligning breath with movement in continuous flow. I am passionate about the power of Vinyasa yoga to strengthen the body through range, calm the mind and ground our energy – all at the same time. My classes prioritise anatomical integrity, ensuring safety while building strength and flexibility. I encourage my students to build a high level of body, mind and self-awareness. It is my hope for you that this embodied awareness will continue to resonate off the mat and overflow into many streams of your life.
