Bronwen teaches Vinyasa Hatha, Trauma Aware and Beginners
Bronwen always loved sport and being active. Growing up she was into basketball and waterpolo. These days, she’s still physically active, but the pace is a bit slower. Yoga, swimming, a little bit of running, and supporting her two boys (9 and 11 years old) in their sporting and other interests.
Her mother died when she was only 48 – which informed Bronwen’s own perspective, she moved from a sense of complacency, entitlement, and a sense of having all the time in the world – towards a greater appreciation of what the present moment holds, and how precious each and every moment can be.
TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS
Bronwen started practising yoga about 10 years ago because she wanted to lose weight and gain strength and flexibility, but she discovered much more. She completed Trinity Yoga Vinyasa Flow Teacher Training (285 hours) in January 2017.
Bronwen teaches from the principle that yoga is for everyone, and shares with her students everything she enjoys most about yoga, with a sense of fun and lightness. She does flowing, physically challenging yoga to energise. This is balanced with present moment awareness and relaxation to help centre oneself. Modifications safely support the various practice needs of beginners, experienced practitioners and students working with injuries.
