PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY
Nadia Bogacheva grew up in the north of Russia till she was 20 years old. She has lived in different parts of the world such as Norway, Holland, Thailand, Bali, Dubai and Fiji studying, then working for an international hotel chain. She finally settled down in Australia, which was her dream since first coming here on holiday.
Apart from a passion for travel, Nadia loves to cook at home for her partner. She loves spending as much time as possible in nature, going for walks, doing yoga and meditating.
TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS
Nadia trained in Purna Yoga at Byron Yoga Centre with John Ogilvie. Purna Yoga represents a holistic approach to yoga integrating not just the physical postures but also philosophy, meditation, pranayama breath control and the yogic personal and social code of ethics. The postural instruction is alignment focused. Sequences range from gentle restorative to dynamic. Blocks, belts and bolsters are available to be used to support and modify postures safely.
TEACHING STYLE
Light and positive focused on key alignments and benefits of asanas with the goal of relaxation and feeling uplifted after the class.
