TL Teaches Yogalates and Yoga flow
TL was born into a large family in Canada and that was a lot of fun. She enjoys being outdoors and surrounded by nature, whether she’s hiking in the mountains, walking on a beach or practising yoga in a park. She loves creating nutritious recipes, especially Thai curry sauce. She enjoys reading and has travelled to many countries in Asia and Europe.
TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS
Yoga came into her life when she was in an unbalanced and unsettled place. She found self-transformation in many ways through her yoga practice and later trained in a 360 hour Classical Hatha Yoga teacher training program with the most senior teacher of the YAA in Canada and graduated in March 2011. In 2016 she took on more teacher training and completed her Hatha Flow teacher training certification early 2017 and then jumped right into another teacher training program for Pilates mat.
She brings a light-hearted approach to her teaching and doesn’t take herself so seriously that she’s not able to giggle at herself. In every class she strives to create a welcoming and accepting atmosphere where everyone feels safe and can be comfortable to be exactly who they are.
Prior to my recent move to Australia from Canada, I was able to spend the summer in my hometown. I attended many celebrations, but two were most remarkable: my parents’ 60th wedding anniversary, and the 92nd birthday of my yoga teacher. It’s difficult to articulate the love and admiration I have for both my parents and for my yoga teacher. They are exceptional people that exude positive energy and inspire all those around them.
