W . O . T . S

( Warriors of the Self )

A 10-Week Empowerment Course for Adolescent Young Women

Know yourself, Trust yourself, Empower yourself?

Discover your inner warrior!

W.O.T.S (Warriors of the Self) empowers young women to build confidence, trust themselves, and recognise their true worth in just 10 weeks.

You’ll move, breathe, and have meaningful conversations that help you honour and embrace who you are, all while connecting with others in a safe and supportive space. No previous yoga experience is required, just come as you are.

If you’re struggling with self-doubt, anxiety, poor body image, difficulty in relating to others — or simply want a place to grow and reconnect with yourself — W.O.T.S is for you.

With mentors Eli Haski and Sachi Proctor guiding the way, you’ll uncover your inner warrior. Together, we’ll focus on movement, breathwork, and self-reflection to help you feel emotionally empowered, physically stronger, more grounded, and clear-minded.

Each week, we’ll focus on a new theme that helps you connect with your mind, body, and emotions. Plus, with simple home practices, you’ll have tools to keep the benefits going in your daily life.

We’ll also explore different aspects so the Feminine, archetypes, goddesses, and inner strength concepts, giving you powerful imagery and inspiration to draw on whenever life feels tough. Instead of fighting against your emotions, you’ll learn how to work with them and feel more connected to yourself and others.

W.O.T.S (Warriors of the Self) is here to support you through the challenges of growing up, helping you feel more confident, calm, and ready to embrace your inner warrior and all parts of you.

Your inner warrior is waiting! Are you ready?

Meet Your Mentors

Eli Haski

Eli has been teaching fitness, yoga and meditation for the past 14 years. Her time in the industry and her personal practices have helped her to transform her own life, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. As a teacher she loves to share her insights and experience to help others find a better way of being with themselves.

Eli has lots of training over different modalities with many aspects of physical conditioning, yoga asana practice, anatomy, meditation and most importantly her own direct experience of a lifetime of personal practice, intuition and cultivating a love for herself.

All she offers is aimed to help you come home to yourself, to let go of the influence of the outside world and learn how to honour and trust oneself, stand up for yourself and embrace all aspects of you in a balanced and harmonious way.

“We need to be our own best friend, greatest advocate and deepest love. When we live from this place anything is possible and life is joyful.”

Sachi Proctor

Sachi is a bright and energetic young woman with natural insights, a deep love of yoga and personal experience of how yoga has helped transform her life. As a young woman, Sachi has been through many trials, dark times and challenges. She brings her wisdom and experience to helping inspire young women towards navigating the challenges of modern technology, social expectations and how to relate and honour one’s self.

Being neurodiverse she has first hand experience in navigating the mindfield of our medical system and diagnosis processes and how these can impact the way one views themselves and what they can do about it. She is on her own journey of self discovery and has achieved incredible transformation and insights along the way. She is a joy to be around and inspiring to all those she meets.

Sachi will be joining our sessions to help inspire, motivate and model what is possible once one starts to embrace all aspects of self, feel our feelings fully, without judgement and explore what it means to be a young woman in this modern world, with a modern attitude of self acceptance, self love and self worth.

A word from Eli:

I am so excited for you to come on this journey of self discovery. For too long women have been held to standards, expectations and restrictions. These are now showing up in your body, as a young woman, as confusion, self loathing and despair. The time has come to heal, not just yourself, but those who came before you and those who will come after you.

We are experiencing a time when women are stepping up, forward and into what it truly means to be women in the fullness of the Feminine and sacred. It is my hope that this course helps you find new ways of viewing yourself, relating to others and being in the world with a confidence and self assuredness that comes from within, that is felt in your body and that sets you on a journey of being in your fullness.

It is not easy and we have thousands of years of suppression held in our bones, blood and emotions. But this journey is needed and your uniqueness is crying to be embraced, developed and shared with humanity.

Are you ready?

Are you willing?

This is going to be amazing!

I can not wait to meet you there, let’s journey together.

A word from Sachi:

My name is Sachi. I am 19, almost 20 years old and I am passionate about life and all the gifts it has to offer ! It wasn’t always this way for me. I really struggled with the concept of self love, empowerment and connection to my body beyond the hyper sexualisation of young girls and their bodies.

Now I have found these gifts and understanding them more I am eager to share them with you ! Your daughters, granddaughters and sisters  Namaste 🙏

Important Information

WHEN TO ARRIVE – Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your class is scheduled to start to ensure you are signed in and ready to start on time. Please ensure the teacher signs you in upon arrival. Arriving late is distracting for the teacher and fellow students.

Store your belongings – Place all personal items, including your shoes and your mobile phone, in one of the pigeon holes inside our locker room for safekeeping and to prevent any obstructions on the floor (the locker room is located in the back left corner when you enter the studio).

Note 1: Shoo your shoes – Practice is done barefoot or in socks. To ensure the space is clean and safe for everyone, please store your shoes in the locker room.

Note 2: Mobile phones are not required in class and should be turned off or on silent and placed in your locker. Should you need your phone for any reason, please notify your teacher so they may be prepared for any interruption.

Set up your mat and props – grab a mat and any required props (as indicated by your teacher) from the storage area to the left of the alter. Your teacher will have their own mat set up with the props needed for that session. Props and equipment are provided by the studio, although you are welcome to bring your own if you choose. If you have knee trouble, we recommend doubling up with two mats for extra cushioning.

Align your mat with the floor markers – Blue mat markers are visible on the floor and skirting board. They indicate two configurations. Once your teacher indicates which configuration is being used, line up your mat against the appropriate marker. This helps ensure you and your fellow students have the space you need to practice. Position props in front of your mat to allow yourself free movement to your left and right side.

COVID HYGIENE – Canberra Yoga Space follows public health advice to maintain a Covid Safe environment.

Please ensure you wash or sanitise your hands before entering and after leaving the studio. Hand Sanitiser has been provided on the front bench and in the locker room. Please be sure to clean any borrowed/shared props, mats and blocks with the spray or wipes provided. At this time we prefer you use your own mat. It can be placed over the top of a studio mat for more cushioning.

Please do not attend class if you are sick, symptomatic or a close contact of someone with Covid19.

If you have any more questions about the course, don’t hesitate to EMAIL THE STUDIO.
