At Canberra Yoga Space, we strive to create a peaceful and welcoming space for everyone. To ensure the best experience for all,
please follow these simple guidelines when attending class.
BEFORE CLASS
Book in Advance
Secure your spot by booking online. If you can’t make it, please cancel early to allow others to join.
Arrive on Time
Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes before class starts to settle in. Yoga is practiced barefoot. Kindly leave your shoes and socks in the locker area.
Turn Off Your Phone
Keep your phone on silent or off to respect the peaceful atmosphere. Store them in the locker area.
DURING CLASS
Practice Mindfully
Listen to your body and modify poses as needed. Our instructors are here to support you! Inform your instructor before class if you have an injury, medical condition, are pregnant, or menstruating. Consult your doctor if needed.
Respect Others’ Space
Keep conversations low and allow others to practice comfortably. Avoid stepping on other mats, as they are considered a personal and sacred space.
Breathe & Enjoy
Focus on your breath, movement, and the present moment. Pace yourself and take rest in Child’s Pose when needed.
AFTER CLASS
Clean Your Mat & Props
Please wipe down shared equipment after use.
Exit Quietly
Allow others to continue their relaxation if they wish.
