PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY
The energy and focus created by synchronization of the body and mind in yoga is what brings me back to the mat over and over again. With our increased connectivity to external sources of energy, I believe yoga is a wonderful way to prioritize and gain confidence with our own internal sense of energy. There are so many benefits to practicing yoga and I truly enjoy sharing the opportunity that yoga provides with others. I am also a firm believer that yoga is for everyone and that everyone has a yoga body.
TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS
Liz has been practicing and living a yoga lifestyle for 16 years now. She studied and completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training course at an Ayurvedic Yoga Studio in Montgomery, Alabama in 2015. In 2017 (while pregnant with her daughter), she studied and completed the Bliss Baby Prenatal and Postnatal qualification under the tutelage of Eli Haski here at Canberra Yoga Space.
TEACHING STYLE
Liz guides an energetic vinyasa flow practice integrating pranayama and aspects of ayurveda. She encourages exploration and self expression within the practice by offering instruction with options to meet people where they are and to allow for expansion in the practice.
